NOTA HISTÓRICA: La estación de Barcelona - Clot, junto con el depósito de máquinas, los talleres de mantenimiento y reparación y una escuela de aprendices, se construye en 1853 por la Compañía de los Ferrocarriles de Madrid a Zaragoza y Alicante (MZA). En 1940, este complejo industrial, pasa a pertenecer a RENFE, funcionando los talleres hasta 1970, y posteriormente, tras negociar RENFE y el Ayuntamiento, el complejo se transforma en un parque proyectado por los arquitectos Daniel Freixes y Vicente Miranda.
