Nota histórica: Los coches Harlan circularon por la línea del Ferrocarril à Valls, Villanueva y Barcelona. En el frontal y en el arenero el número 4, posteriormente 36 de TBF y después 36 de MZA. Los coches de viajeros están basados en el RENFE BB 2596 (ex MZA BWffv 8), conservado actualmente en el Museu del Ferrocarril de Vilanova i la Geltrú. Son la primera unidad rodante con bogies de España y el tercero en Europa.
