[En el reverso el texto]: This is one of the stations on the City and South Londos Railway which was among the first opened of the many electric railways now making the rapid traversing of London so convenient. The line runs from Islington to Clapham Common, thus simplifying the formerly arduous journey between the nearer north and south London suburbs. These railways are situated a considerabel distance below the level of the streets, but are nevertheless comfortable and pleasant travelling
