Vista general de la obra finalizada. Sobre la vía, el talud, y parte del pontón, se ven restos de nieve, mostrando una estampa aparentemente invernal, lo cual parece contradecir la fecha anotada sobre el soporte secundario, que data la imagen a comienzos del mes de junio. Al fondo se extiende el paisaje montañoso característico de esta zona limítrofe entre las provincias de Málaga y Cádiz.

Anotada sobre el soporte secundario, aparece la siguiente leyenda: "línea (sic) Bobadilla - Algeciras Pontón kº 119 + 700" Agüas (sic) abajo - 10-6-1952. Se ha descrito una fecha aproximada posterior a la marcada sobre el soporte secundario, ya que en una imagen posterior del mismo álbum se confirma la finalización de la obra en el año 1953.
