NOTA HISTÓRICA: Coches tipo P, diseñados por M. Albert Pillepich (de quien toman su nombre), Ingeniero Jefe de los Servicios Técnicos de la CIWL en el año 1954, fueron los únicos coches de la Compañia que no llevaron el escudo de la misma en los laterales y cuyo color exterior no era azul, sino acero inoxidable. A España vinieron, en régimen de alquiler por parte de RENFE, los veinte primeros coches de la serie, del 4501 al 4510 en 1969
